LEAF OS is deeply integrated with VMware Horizon desktop virtualization to provide extensive USB peripheral compatibility. Supported USB peripheral devices in VMware Horizon sessions include:​

• USB webcams ​
• USB and network printers ​
• Document scanner ​
• USB mass storage devices ​
• Digital (HDMI, DisplayPort, S/PDIF), analog, and USB audio ​
• USB smart card readers and security keys ​
• Serial ports ​
• Other USB devices through Generic USB redirection ​

LEAF OS supports the following VMware Horizon Desktop VIrtualization envrionments:​

• VMware Horizon Cloud ​
• VMware Horizon 8 version 2006 and later ​
• VMware Horizon 7 version 7.13 and later

We have customers using LEAF OS to repurpose outdated Dell Wyse and HP thin clients into high-performance, secure locked-down endpoints, with the support for the latest client receivers from Microsoft AVD, RDS, Citrix, VMWare and other popular VDI platforms.
