Standard 3-Year Hardware Warranty

NComputing stands behind the quality of each device we make by including a 3-year hardware warranty from the date of purchase.

Warranty Period

Warranty period starts at date of purchase. Date of purchase will be determined by a valid proof of purchase, including the following information:

  • Name of reseller purchased from (typically on the printed Purchase Order)
  • Name and address of purchaser
  • Purchase date
  • Model number(s) of product(s) purchased
  • Serial number(s) of product(s) purchased

In the event that a valid proof of purchase is not available, the warranty Start Date will be determined by the date of manufacture. Our newer devices have the Date of Manufacturing clearly printed on the product label (see 1st image below). For older devices, Date of manufacture is based on a date-coded serial number printed on the product label (see 2nd image below).

Out of Warranty

If the serial number validation determines that your NComputing product is out of warranty, NComputing will not replace the defective device. You should purchase a new device from your reseller. For this reason, we encourage you to purchase Extended Hardware Warranty.

Extended Hardware Warranty

If you would like to extend the 3-year Warranty of your device, you may purchase a 1- or 2-year extension. The Extended Hardware Warranty option must be purchased at least ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the Standard Hardware Warranty Period. Any older hardware that is no longer covered by the Standard Hardware Warranty is not eligible for the Extended Hardware Warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

The Warranty is provided to the original Customer only and is not transferable to any third party. This Warranty is voided by the removal or alteration of identification labels on the NComputing product or hardware components.

Return Materials Authorization (RMA) process

Advance Hardware Replacement

With the standard RMA process, a replacement unit is not shipped until the defective unit is received by NComputing or your NComputing Reseller. If you would like faster turnaround time, you can purchase Advance Hardware Replacement which allows the replacement to be sent right away, rather than waiting for the defective device to be sent back.
