  • Raj Dhingra, CEO Raj Dhingra is a twenty-year veteran of the technology industry with an extensive track record of building strong, sustainable and profitable industry leadership positions in new and emerging categories. Raj brings entrepreneurial drive and success, and a rich depth of corporate experience across general management, business development, product development, sales and marketing functions. Prior to joining NComputing in April 2011, Raj was VP and GM at Citrix where he led the company’s desktop virtualization business from zero to half a billion dollars growth in sales over a 3 year period. As well as his leadership role in global virtualization companies such as Citrix, Dhingra has held executive leadership positions in public companies such as McAfee, 3Com, SonicWALL and startups such as IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee) and PortAuthority Technologies(acquired by Websense).

  • Katherine Butler, Chief Administrative Officer Ms. Butler brings more than 20 years of experience to lead the finance, legal and human resources team at NComputing. Prior to NComputing, she served as general counsel and secretary for Software AG North America where she led the finance, legal, human resources and corporate services teams.

    Ms. Butler also served as an attorney with General Electric in various locations including Paris, Milan, London, and Maryland. Early in her career, she was lead counsel for Software International Corporation in Andover, Massachusetts. She holds a master of laws (L.L.M.) from Boston University, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Smith College.

  • Gabriele Sartori, SVP of Hardware Platform Development and Alliances Mr. Sartori brings more than 25 years of technology and hardware development experience to NComputing. He leads the hardware platform development as well as industry alliances efforts for NComputing. Prior to NComputing, Mr. Sartori held executive positions at Spansion, Luxtera, and Advanced Micro Devices. At AMD, he was the driving force behind HyperTransport, the revolutionary bus used by the Opteron CPUs.

    Before coming to the U.S., Mr. Sartori ran the R&D for Desktop PC and Workstations at Olivetti, Italy. He has several computer architecture patents and holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical Institute of Biella, Italy.

  • Simon Pearce, SVP Worldwide Sales Simon Peace has 20 years experience in the software business and brings in-depth knowledge of desktop virtualization and international sales. Prior to NComputing, he was with Quest Software where he spent 14 years, initially establishing and leading the European business, scaling it from a start-up to a business with revenues of more than $200 million across EMEA. More recently he was VP and GM for Quest's global desktop virtualization business. Simon has also held various management positions at ParcPlace and CPG an Australian company.

  • Jay Mellman, VP of Global MarketingJay Mellman brings more than 20 years of experience leading marketing teams for both large companies, like Cisco and HP, as well as smaller organizations like his most recent position as CMO of Rhonmobie, a mobile development platform company, recently acquired by Motorola Solutions. He has experience in a wide range of hardware and software technologies, including networking gear, web application acceleration solutions, and other complex solutions. He has also done a tremendous amount of work with both alliance and channel partners, emphasizing both “sell to” recruitment and “ sell through” value propositions and programs.

    Jay holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from University of California, Berkeley.

  • Will Poole, Co-chairman of the Board Will Poole is a veteran software executive with 25 years of experience building and managing software operations at start-ups and large technology companies including Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, and eShop. He has a passion for global development issues having spent more than two years as head of Microsoft’s Unlimited Potential Group. In that role, Mr. Poole was charged with developing new business models and innovative technologies that would bring low-cost and eco-friendly computing solutions to the estimated five billion people on the planet who lack access to computers. His focus was on transforming education, fostering local innovation, and creating jobs and opportunities. At Microsoft, Mr. Poole also ran the Windows Digital Media Division and the Windows Client Business.

    Mr. Poole joined Microsoft in 1996 through the acquisition of eShop Inc., a company he co-founded in 1991 and ran as president and chief operating officer. Prior to eShop, Mr. Poole spent five years at Sun Microsystems, working in senior marketing and engineering management roles.

  • Stephen A. Dukker, Chairman Mr. Dukker brings more than 40 years of experience to NComputing, having held senior management roles in a number of diverse and prominent PC-related market and technology leaders spanning software development, semiconductors, technology manufacturing, retail, and mail order operations.

    After a twenty-year career in enterprise software development and technology consulting, he became the founder and president of PC Brand, one of the first mail order PC manufacturers in the industry. Later, he was president of PC manufacturing, distribution, technology merchandising, mail order, and service groups for CompUSA as one of its earliest senior executives. He was senior vice president of merchandising and direct operations for the Computer City retail computer superstore group of Radio Shack, and then became president of OPTi, Inc., a multimedia and system logic semiconductor company and IP-licensing firm.

    Most recently he was the founding CEO of eMachines, one of the leading PC brands in the US market, now a subsidiary of Acer. In its first year, eMachines achieved $817 million in revenues, sold 2 million computers and created the first ultra low-cost PC, quickly becoming the third-largest manufacturer of personal computers in North America and the fastest growth company in the history of American business (in1998 eclipsing Netscape). He has served on the boards of a number of public and private technology companies.

    A common thread is that Mr. Dukker has spent his entire career driving down the cost of computing.

  • H. DuBose Montgomery, Director DuBose was a founder of Menlo Ventures in 1976, and has been an active director in many of the Firm's portfolio companies over the past 33 years. At Menlo, DuBose focuses on investments in leading companies in the information technology sector. Some of his current investments and board seats include: Entone, Firetide, freightquote.com, Golden Gateway Financial, NComputing, OnRequest Images, SellPoint and Wellcore. His prior investments include: EndoVascular Technologies, acquired by Guidant Corp. (GDT); Frame Technology Corporation, acquired by Adobe Systems (ADBE); Gilead Sciences (GILD); Infoseek Corporation, acquired by the Walt Disney Co. (DIS); LSI Logic Corporation (LSI); Micro Therapeutics (MTIX); Network Equipment Technologies(NWK); Valid Logic Systems, acquired by Cadence Design Systems (CDN) and VNUS Medical Technologies (VNUS).

    DuBose is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S. in Electrical Engineering, B.S. in Management Science) and the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration (M.B.A.). He previously served as a trustee of the Corporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and on the MIT visiting committees for the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and for Sponsored Research.

  • Young Song, Co-founder Mr. Song brings over 20 years of technology vision and entrepreneurial leadership with a focus on products that deliver life-enhancing value to education, business and consumers. He has founded and operated several start-up ventures with an inherent talent and track record for turning ideas into viable products and sustainable businesses.

    After six years of service at NComputing in executive management positions including Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Song remains an active director of the company. He founded and currently is Chief Executive Officer of Booga Ventures, an investment, advisory and mentoring firm dedicated to helping start-up companies commercialize new ideas and technologies or expand into new geographic markets. Mr. Song is also CEO of GaiaRecycle, LLC, that provides “clean technology” organic waste recycling systems for processing and diverting food scraps and other organic waste streams from landfills and converting waste into to a reusable resource.

    Prior to co-founding NComputing, Mr. Song was also the founder and CEO of DoubleSight Displays, a company that delivered affordable and cost-effective dual displays to businesses and consumers. In addition, Mr. Song co-founded and was vice president of product marketing for eMachines, a pioneer in bringing affordable computing to consumers. He began his career as marketing director for both TriGem America Corporation and TriGem Computer, Inc. Mr. Song holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. He is also an active volunteer for several non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area and lives in Palo Alto with his family.

  • Stacey Curry Bishop, Director Stacey focuses on Internet, digital media and software, particularly on Scale Venture Partners’ investments in software-as-a-service (SaaS). She led a research project on best practices for SaaS that resulted in investments in Omniture, (Acq: Adobe) and ExactTarget. Stacey has been involved in several of ScaleVP’s software investments, including Frontbridge and Placeware both of which were acquired by Microsoft.

    Stacey joined Scale Venture Partners in 1999, and has worked closely with Arena, ExactTarget, HubSpot, mBlox, Omniture and Tripwire.

    Before ScaleVP, Stacey specialized in mergers and acquisitions in the Corporate Development & Strategy Group at Bank of America, was a member of the Equity Research Group at Morgan Stanley and held sales and marketing responsibilities at Syntel, an IT services firm.

    Stacey holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from the University of Michigan.

  • Rob Herb, Director Mr. Herb invests in markets in which he has always had a passion. At Scale VP, He is part of the firm's information technology team that identifies hardware investments including semiconductors and components, primarily for consumer electronics and enterprise systems. He sits on the board of directors of Ageia, Astute Networks, Enpirion and MIPS Technologies.

  • Klaus Maier, Co-founder Mr. Maier is the inventor of the multiuser architecture and concepts that are used in NComputing products. Previously the founder and CEO of Hyrdapark GmbH and KaMai-Computersysteme GmbH, he teamed with Young Song to develop and launch the hardware and software solutions from NComputing to a worldwide market.

    In 1998, Maier was named “The Most Innovative Entrepreneur” by a prominent German news magazine for his contributions to the PC industry, including inventing direct video-drive technology for multiuser PCs.
