There is a support document that addresses this issue, but it's not totally clear on procedure. After you downgrade the BIOS to A03, you have to go into maintainence>load defaults. If you don't do this, the downgrade is pointless and you'll still have no sound.

Also, if you are installing on a Dell 755, disable the soundcard before the NCX install to avoid a blue screen/parity error.
