Hello,

I am having L230 model and I am facing problem in USB pen drive. I insert pendrive it is detecting but when I double-click on drive letter it shows me "Please insert disk in drive (driver letter)". If I format and doubl-click it working fine, but if I remove it and again insert same problem. If I use USB Hard disk it works fine. Problem is only with pendrive. I have used JetFlash 1GB and 2GB. Also I tried with Kinston 256MB.

Host OS : Windows XP Prof with SP2 and updated, Intel C2D processor with 2 GB RAM.

I have installed latest NCT software i.e. 4.03.94 and firmware of L230 model is also updated.

Can any please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Try to use the Add/Remove devices manager (in bottom right near the clock) to remove correctly your USB pendrive, may be Windows is using it, so if you remove it when it is in use, there are, may be, some bad sector created or something like that.

I'd try to unstall your USB Hub controller and devices inside the hardware manager and let windows redetect and install your USB Hardware.
