Is it possible to run an USB fingerprint scanner with L230 units?  So people would only use their prints to log in the system instead of typing.

If it's possible, need tips on how to get to work please.

Thanks.

I don't know if it is possible. But in a theorical answer, I think it is.

You could buy one or two fingerprint scanner, install the required software and be sure that the soft can work on a Terminal Server environnement. If ok, you can enable the automatic connection in L-series, like this, the terminal is connected, and the usb port (the one on L200 or L230) will be connected to the host computer.

And finally, you can try the fingerprint connected to the host, view if it connect correctly. If yes, you can try the fingerprint connected to a L200 or L230 and viw if the user can connect too.

Note that, you must have 2 fingerprints : not only one that you connect to the host and after you connect it to the L200/L230.

I will be happy to know if this works too, and I'm waiting for your response.
