On the L230 power module whe can read: 5 volts 2 amp That is 10 watts if i remember what i learn in school. So ordinary specs for USB ports is a source of 15 watts. If the board inside the L230 draw some watts as i suppose, what quatity of power can i deliver to the remaining adds like a USB memory stick ? I will be happy to read other's opinion. Thanks |

Traditional USB (that used by the ubiquitous memory stick) is 5v at 500mA. If you are talking about PoweredUSB -- where the USB port also supplies power for higher-power required devices - that standard is not endorced by the USB-IF. However, it's still fairly common. Since Ncomputing only "officially" supports memory sticks, you can always try hooking up a powered USB hub in between the device you wish to hook up and the Lxxx -- and see if it will work. Wouldn't hurt to try. |
