Hi everyone,

I would like to connect remotely a L230 to a host PC with NCT software installed.

On the client side, I have one L230 and one router.

On the server side, at a remote location, I have a PC with NCT software installed

Is it possible to do that ?

I answer to myself :
I've seen this on the NComputing "Get Help"

__
L-series: Can the L-Series be used with Wide Area Networks (WAN) ?

Latency becomes an issue when trying to use our devices with Wide Area Networks. Currently our devices are not optimized for Wide Area Networks. We recommend to customers that if they wish to experiment with using our devices with Wide Area Networks, then they should consider using low latency "gaming" routers for both the L-device and the host PC which allows for better ping (and latency) .

Anyone has already try this ? Does it work ?

Yes, sometimes a little draw-in and user on the wide side must understand the limitations. (For example turn the sound off).
I works well enough for me to work from home on evenings.

Hi hjkcga

How have you set up the L230 and the remote location host PC ?
