We have a strange spike on the CPU usage on CSRSS.exe file and it happen once in a while. It will use up 25% of CPU resources for each file(csrss.exe) without letting go. Sometimes it can go up to 3 CSRSS.exe and consume 75% of CPU in total and it will slow down the terminals. End task doesn't allow as it is a critical task for the system. Our machine is  Dell Optiplex 755 Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz with 4Gb RAM DDR2 and 250Gb HDD running on XP sp3. Ncomputing software version is 4.03.094.

Temporary Solution:-

a) Schedule to restart automatically everyday

b) I have read while searching for answer in the internet and found that XP has this problem and require to re-create back the user profile - so far haven't tested it yet. Will try one at a time as we have 10 users in this machine.

Anyone has anymore ideas?

After a clean install for each user profile, it seems that the spike doesn't occur anymore.
