I can't believe that we are forced to buy dusted old PS2 devices instead of USB ones to use the L serie.

It would be very nice if you could get rid of the PS2 ports and sell a model with only USB ports that officially supports more than just usb memory devices.

that said, I think it's a great product still and it's very useful! ;)

On the L-series, trust me -- you don't WANT them to support anything else. Imagine the lag caused by someone trying to watch TV using an USB tv card. And a USB keyboard? If you are a half-way decent typist, by the time you've finished a sentence, you'll be able to watch the letters on the screen try to catch up to you before you start the next.

If you are looking for a very low profile, very low power solution (i.e., the HOST does ALL the work), then PS2 is the best solution. If you want a larger, more expensive terminal, then I'd suggest going with an RDP or CITRIX solution.
