Has anyone gotten iTalc to see all stations in an X300 setup?  I've heard that it's been done, and in fact a systems engineer at nComputing named Justin Emilio had successfully tested this.  A post by him in iTalc's listserv left a few clues, but not enough info to get it to work for me.  This would be helpful since nControl seems to have disappeared.

Thanks,

Jim

I just did this Friday with a zip file from Ryan Sharkey...

(I tried to attach it, but it doesn't allow it for some reason)

Not sure if Justin is answering any questions regarding it though...

It worked for me with the caveats that:

- Somtimes the username logged into the host shows on mutiple iTalc sessions

- Host shows login window, while terminals don't show anything until a user logs into them.

This is with L230 units rather than X300, but I plan to try it with my X300 units later this week.

How did you go with the X300?

Additional documentation on the installation and configuration of iTalc in an NComputing environment has been added to the Support Knowledgebase (http://www.ncomputing.com/support.aspx). Just search for "italc" and click the first result, called "iTALC Management Software for NComputing".

Worked the same on the X300s as it did on the L230s.
