Anybody know if it's possible to take control of the thin clients? Basically we do most of support remotely so being able to control a users session is vital. I have tried landesk and that just gives us access to the host computer, not the connecting clients. I was recomended iTalc through my rep but that seems to do the exact same thing and from their own wiki it does now seem like they support thin clients.

I noticed on the L-series console I can at least get a screen shot of the desktop which is better than nothing. On the X-series I don't even have that option so we would pretty much have to fly blind or have them logon to the host computer. Without something like this is becomes a local only solution and it would not be something I can remotetly support very well.
I am new to this product so does anybody know of a good solution? My guess is ncomputing is going to have to build something in the future (are they planning anything?) and it's not possible but thats just a guess.
Thanks. |
