I have three L230 under WindowsXP running and everything works pretty ok, except the sound. If I plug in the headset to the audio port I can hear something but the quality is very bad. Is there anything I can do about it? Thank you very much for your help.

I have never used amplified headphones. I just know they exist. In my office we have: the built in speakers in a monitor, cheap $12 non-name I received with the server system and Klipsch ProMedia 2.0 (amazing sound). All work, they just need to be amplified.
