Product Release Notes for Version 4.03.088 from November, 2007
Thank you for using NComputing products. These release notes contain important information regarding the newest available release for your NComputing device or software. NComputing strongly recommends you read the entire document thoroughly prior to installation.
Product: NCX-2000-XP for X-Series or X300 devices
Version: NCX-2000-XP 4.03.088 (Or 4.03.088.2)
Changes since previous version include:
• Ability to assign USB memory devices to a dedicated Host USB ports to a given terminal (see Ncomputing Forum for a set of instructions on how to accomplish configuring port assignments. Please note the behavior from previous versions has changed.)
• Enhanced x300 driver date/version information and reporting in Windows and Graphics
• Controller Properties window (please note that some dates are reported in the European style of Day/Month/Year versus the Microsoft US style of Mon/Day/Year)
• Updated technical support contact information in OEM info file
• Enhanced functionality with certain optical mice
• Improved PCI compatibility in two X300 card environments
• Support for the new Windows SP2C login file that manifested itself as a “TS ERROR -WINLOGON FAILED!” error.
• Improved internet update process
• Updated un-install procedure includes better discovery of older files and their removal.
