how about supporting the new 17-22 inch widescreen LCD's Samsung, AOC and other vendors are making?

yes i do, i own 4 actually, but it doesn't support resolutions such as 1280 x 800.

L230 should have support for a 1440 X 900 resolution for widescreen.
